In June 2009 we held a tremendously successful inaugural Awards event; in May 2010 we repeated our success. These events have proved to be an effective means to acknowledge the great service providers of the retirement industry. They were attended by many industry players, both from Johannesburg and further afield. Publicity and Exposure
Publicity and exposure over the weeks leading up to the Awards took a number of forms.

Newspapers which featured coverage on the Awards were Sake 24, The Sunday Times, Business Day and The Times. The Awards were also featured in retirement industry publications like Fin Week, Financial Mail and Pensions World.

People on television and radio had something to say about them too. They were featured on News at One on SABC 3, and New Retirement Thinking on Summit TV. They were also mentioned on radio on Kaya fm.

There were also internet-based articles on the Awards on the following websites: Insurance Gateway at www.insurancegateway.co.za; FA News at www.fanews.co.za; and MSN News at http://news.za.msn.com.
